Slitting
Silicon Cortech has the expert capabilities to ensure burr free slitting of steel coils according to customer specific widths from parent coils of upto 1250mm. High carbon cutters/knives and accurate setup prevents edges to have excessive beveling. This further reflects in the quality of Electrical Laminations or Stator & Rotor Stacks supplied to the customer
Helical Stamping (Slinky)
Highly Accurate & Efficient Slinky Production, with all the related secondary processes (Stamping, Curling, Welding and Forming) in-house to improve the material utilization with considerable reduction in costs to provide the best service to our customers.
Riveting / Cleating
In addition to the interlock stacking process, we also have the capability to assemble cores through processes of Rivetting or Cleating.
Heat Treatment
Pit-Type furnaces coupled with Steam Boiler enables us to perform Steam Bluing of Stator & Rotor stacks in order to provide an anti-corrosion resistant coating, enhance the component to make it wear resistant or simply for enhancing the appearance of the product.
Pressing
Our automated Stator & Rotor stack pressing operation enables us to provide highly accurate Electrical Lamination stacks with near perfect concentricity, parallelism and bore-alignment due to the use of well designed fixtures owing to the energies invested by our well experienced team.
Blanking
The single stroke machine is widely used for manufacturing micro screws and other similar products, the machines are designed keeping the industrial norms in mind and using finest quality steel that is properly heat-treated.
Progressive Stamping
The stamping press shop has presses varying in capacity from reputed companies such as Aida, Minster, Chin-Fong, Ingyu, etc. which cater to a wide range of electrical aminations. We have presses upto a tonnage of 350 Tons to manufacture accurate lamination Stator & Rotor stacks with progressive tooling with features such as Interlocking, Auto-Skewing, Auto-Rotation, etc.
Welding
Our perfectly implemented argon (TIG) welding process boasts the capabilities to weld stacks with the least risk of increase in stator core loss. Silicon Cortech has the capabilities to perform 10 welds at once on a large stator stack and can process 10000 stacks per day.
Die Casting
Our Aluminium Die Casting facility consists of machinery manufactured by Zitai and world renowned brand TCS to manufacture Die Cast Rotors & Parts. Our facility has the capability to manufacture 10000 components on a daily basis.
Machining
Our machining facility consists of highly skilled operators and high quality CNC Lathes to enable us to perform machining on Rotors or Die Cast Parts.
Plastic Overmoulding
Plastic Overmolding is the injection molding process where one material (usually a TPE) is molded onto a second material (typically a rigid plastic) by using heat and pressure along with liquid silicone.
Laser cutting
We Have SH-ACL Laser cutting machine. Bed Size 16.5mx7.2mx2.8m (lxbxh). This can be used to manufacture larger frames of diameter upto 1500mm.
